Should I switch from Yahoo to Verizon email?

I have Yahoo email, but I don't use it. I prefer Outlook and Gmail.

This is me too. I don’t want Gmail but opening up AOL to read my email at work is embarrassing and I’ve lost cred with the Millenials

I still have a yahoo account. I have had it for for like 25 years. I don’t want to lose all my old emails.

I haven’t noticed any changes but I still have it set up as yahoo classic. Can you switch back to that?

Oh my god people. How old are you?

You can set up auto-forwarding from one email account to another, so any websites that have your Yahoo account won’t have to receive your updated email address. Those emails will just automatically go to your new account.

The idea that email addresses can be trendy is bonkers. I know it exists but really who cares?

Forget Verizon. Like the other person said, you’re stuck if you want to switch providers. Plus it’s a crap company. They own yahoo though so either way you’re with them. Just switch to the old yahoo version, it’s as lot better. They will occasionally bug you to use the new version but just ignore it.

A Yahoo or Hotmail address makes it look like you are some old lady who had their grandson sign up for an email account because they couldn't do it themselves.

It’s the same for any of the crappy public email services, Gmail, yahoo, Apple etc. If someone gives me a business email that’s one of those I’m not doing business with them.

Yes. When you have been using one mailbox for years, you don't even think about moving your emails, they are just there. But when you decide to change a provider, the process seems to be complicated. I know it from my own experience. I've recently created another mailbox for my personal purpose, so the old one will be used only for work. But I wanted all my personal data to be transferred to the new box. I should say, it took me some time to find the solution. Having looked through several discussions on the topic, I found out about Email in Detail. I should say, this tool did the job just fine. Moreover, it turned out to have more great options. I also use it to save and archive my emails as pdf.
