Met my husband on Yahoo Personals. We've been married for almost 9 years and have 3 (soon to be 4) kids. He's the best thing that ever happened to me by a mile. I don't think there's anything wrong with meeting online -- I am very forthcoming about it. After you're done with school it is just harder to meet a wide cross-section of people to find a good match, so using the internet makes sense. FWIW, I started online dating in December and met DH in March of the following year (meaning I did it for 4 months total). It definitely had its downsides -- I kissed some toads for sure. But it was worth it in the end.

Another eharmony couple here. We were both in early thirties when we met. As another poster said, it is tedious but only the better determined go through the process. While Iwas on there for a year before I met DH, I will say i found guys more suited to me on there than on Match or Chemistry etc.
