match and okc are good but as others have said, you do need to sort through the garbage (applies to both sexes).
and please, if you're interested in someone, don't pull a flake and disappear (forget, too busy, etc.). had a friend who experienced this with a very attractive woman - she contacted him again after 3 months of being 'busy' - he had moved on. weirdest thing was that she met him later again in a social setting - he was with his SO and she was still alone and lamented over shoula, woulda, coulda. |

Met my soon-to-be fiancé on POF. I guess we don't count as a success story yet but things are looking good  Not sure if POF is popular in DC but it's the most popular site for young people in our area.
Had we not had our initial messages back and forth, I never would have agreed to a date with him. I wasn't particularly attracted to him and we are very different. However, I'm so glad I took the leap (he was the first guy I'd met from online)!! |

My mother met a wonderful guy w/out spending a dime out of her pocket.
She went on PlentyofFish.com and met someone. They have almost 2 yrs together and she couldn't be happier. He really is a decent man. He also is an artist who cooks as well.
