Okay. Why is your meal ticket husband trying to fuck me every time he sees me?

Lol. Post your picture and I'll post mine. Then you can admit how silly you are.

About 2-3 times a week, I need to run some errands like grocery shopping, library, post office, craft store for school projects or home depot for stuff I am doing around the house. Things like that. Or meet a friend for coffee or volunteer at school. Come back finish lunch. My husband works nearby and comes home to eat with me. We do, he leaves, I read, catch up on emails, laundry, some cleaning. I take a 30 minute nap every day. My favorite thing in the world. Decide dinner and if it can be made ahead of time start that ;about twice a week I bake. And by then, it is time to go get the kids and do homework, extra-curriculars, play dates, park, walk the dog, dinner, bath time, bed time...
It doesn't look like much but it takes time. I love it!

A daily nooner? I'd take a nap every afternoon too.

SAHM with no kids at home, sounds like a lazy woman who just doesn't want to work, lol.

Interesting aside. There has been no indication that "far learning" actually works. Doing the daily crossword puzzle every day will make you better at doing the crossword puzzle but will not limit losses or show improvements in other cognitive tasks. The only thing that shows an impact "across the board" so to speak in limiting losses and gaining improvements in cognitive tasks in adults is regular exercise.

If anybody knows where this SAHM could find a job between the hours of 9 and 2 with summers and holidays off and plenty of short notice LWOP, I'd be glad to hear of it. In the meantime, I'll continue saving my family money through DIY lawn and home maintenance, scratch cooking, grocery store hopping and regular thrift shopping.

This is stupid. Grocery shopping does not take 2 days, and paying the bills and checking accounts does not take up an entire day either.

You misunderstood. I do my grocery shopping on Wednesdays and other shopping on Thursday. Each take about an hour.

Nor did I mean I spend a whole entire day paying bills: 15 minutes tops.

Basically, I do whatever is necessary while kid and DH are not at home... but I also have a lot of free time to do whatever I like

I only have a few hours free a day, in all honesty it is eaten up by working out and household management.

I have a medical condition that requires I maintain a healthy weight and weekly PT. I also love working out, even when I worked outside the home. I won't lie, I work out everyday a few hours a day, usually broken up at various times in the day (so not 3 hours back to back. But 3 hours total).

The household management stuff really seems to be a time sucker. All kinds of doctor's appointments (scheduling time, attending them, getting a specialist, having tests done, paying the bills, fighting the insurance), arranging for and meting repair people for appliances, HVAC, Comcast, etc., dealing with any other BS issue that always seems to come up (bank question, issues at school, etc) all those everyday mundane things that for me seem to suck the time and energy right out of my day. All the calls, waiting on hold, calls back, scheduling, confirming. Waiting, etc.

Then I do errands so our weekends are free, groceries, dry cleaners, taking car to the shop, dog to the vet, other random shopping, blah blah blah

When my kids at out of school I like to be with them, not racing to soccer or the store. We come home, have snack, talk about the day, play. I cook all our meals, all of them.

This formula works for us.
