I don't understand this. Wouldn't you want to hold off on serving anything involving hard boiled eggs expecting that everybody will be up to their ears in them after Easter?

We don't eat those things! I would certainly refrigerate my hardboiled eggs shortly after making them and would not consider putting the kids eggs they make in the fridge for later consumption.

You can eat those. It's VERY easy to tell when an egg is bad, as they smell bad.

Really, we color our eggs, then I put them in the frig. They are out some Easter night because the Easter bunny hides them. But then me and dh have egg salad with them and hard boiled eggs for our salad. Why not eat them? Hard boiled eggs last a long time especially if you refrigerate them.

Anonymous wrote:Broccoli Salad always a hit. This is my mom recipe, but you can find variations on AllRecipe

2 heads of broccoli, chopped
1c mayo
2 tbs vinegar
1/4 c sugar
1 lb bacon, cooked & chopped
1 med onion, chopped
1 c salted cashew, added shortly before serving

Mix all together. Don't die from the goodness.

I am going to try this minus the onion and nuts. Looks good.

I love deviled eggs. I know they're dated but they're a staple at every family gathering. Funny thing, DH is from the south and could care less for them.

I love this salad. I don't use onions or nuts in mine. I do add shredded cheddar and cherry tomatoes.

Never fail with this one:

Baked Brie with caramelized onions

You don't need a whole wheel (you can put aluminum foil around a partial wheel) or you can get a smaller wheel, like camembert.

one medium can of green beans (drain half liquid), one can yelllow wax benas (drain half), one can kidney beans (drain completely) one can norther beans (drain half). Put in a bowl, add fresh or dried dill, add vinegar of choice. let marinade overnight. In the morning drain and you have tasty bean salad.
