What's an Easter bash without deviled eggs? |
Cut strawberries (or other fresh fruit) and Martha Stewart's chocolate sauce for dipping or drizzling
MS chocolate sauce recipe = 1 cup chocolate, 1/2 cup heavy cream, 1 tablespoon butter - microwave for one minute and stir until smooth |
Everyone loves a good Ramen Noodle salad. Many recipes out there, not sure which is the best. |
This coleslaw always gets rave reviews--cut everything up with a food processor and it is really quick:

Panzanella salad:
http://www.epicurious.com/recipes/food/views/Panzanella-12529 Salad with sliced avocado, grapefruit, and mango over greens with a slightly sweet dressing. Roasted asparagus on a platter with a drizzle of hollandaise sauce. Always a big hit, roasted chunks of sweet potato with a sweet chili rub (just mix some brown sugar, chili powder, touch of whatever else ... cinnamon, cumin, etc.) |
Get a wheel of brie. Top with dried cranberries and walnuts mixed with caramel sauce. Serve with crackers...so yummy and pretty too! |
Deviled eggs.
Chopped cucumbers, halved cherry tomatoes, crumbled feta, chopped mint, vinaigrette dressing. Pound cake or angel food cake, mixed berries, and whipped cream. You can serve them pre-assembled as a trifle or on separate dishes for people to serve as they like. |
I love buffalo chicken dip with big frito chips

I don't understand this. Wouldn't you want to hold off on serving anything involving hard boiled eggs expecting that everybody will be up to their ears in them after Easter? |
I don't know about you, but our dyed hard boiled eggs have been sitting in a basket on the table since Saturday. No one is going to eat them! Yuck! |
This is my favorite. It is easy and can be made far in advance and always gets raves. http://www.myrecipes.com/m/recipe/orzo-salad-with-chickpeas-dill-lemon-10000000338370/ |
We don't eat those things! I would certainly refrigerate my hardboiled eggs shortly after making them and would not consider putting the kids eggs they make in the fridge for later consumption. |
I always work too hard for potlucks and regret it. BUT that was before I found this, which is what all my future potlucks are going to be:

You can eat those. It's VERY easy to tell when an egg is bad, as they smell bad. |
