Many of those buildings are individually owned and are cash cows for the long-time owners. People have been trying to assemble parcels for years, but it is worse than herding cats. The first group of townhouses will be the camel in the tent, and the rest will eventually be sold and razed. However, I do hope they keep those for Fisher House for the wounded soldiers from Iraq and Afghanistan.

The signs for the town homes just went up. They said they'll break ground in 2 weeks and they'll go for around 800k

They tore down the apartments and almost cleared the lot

The town homes are being listed but the renderings/floor plan are only for 2/2... At 863k that seems off. You can get a she for about 650k minus a garage but a lot more sq ft. AR8312603

Dumb. Will tank if they make that move.

Are you stupid? They are expanding, not moving.

What is 2/2? They have 3 bedroom so what does this signify?

I think the floorplan shown is a 2 bedroom/2 bath (or 2.5 bath).

Look closer. This is standard Arlington 2/1 stacked bedroom. Drives me nuts.

I still don't see the third bedroom. Is it not shown in the floorplan? The second drawing/photo says "2,048 square feet 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths, 3 powder rooms"

If you go to the developer's website, you can see the various floorplans, which I guess can be mixed and matched to create configurations up to 5 bedrooms.

The "beautiful" strip mall? Time to upgrade it. Absolute waste of a pretty good location.

Pretty sure the PP use of beautiful was sarcastic.

In the history of the world, you can safely assume no one has combined "strip mall" and "beautiful" sincerely.
