the price of this house is a joke... right?

False.

+1

The houses in our neighborhood (Woodside Park) go for $700K and up, and they sell very quickly.

So what is a fair price for it?

500k

If square footage is accurate, definitely more than $500k. It is a big house and the location is very good- a short walk to DTSS. But it is overpriced. Well-priced houses in the neighborhood sell quickly.

For one for this price the photos should be spectacular and the house should be staged. the decor is awful and the whole place needs cosmetic fixes not to mention the ugly exterior. Looks like it was previously listed. I wonder if it will even sell.

$650,00 to $675,000 perhaps.

Wow, that house makes me so glad I live in Baltimore. It's in a bad school district, too? In SS? Pathetic.

You could get a house nicer than any of the ones in Woodside park for that here.

The schools are bad and the random additionS are terrible.

Actually, the elementary school is great and the IB program at Einstein gets great reviews. The biggest problem is middle school, but I'm hopeful that it is improving.

Examples please?

I walked my dog around Woodside Park for almost an hour this morning and didn't see a single random, poorly-done addition. Not one.

We love the schools here and our kids are doing great.

I think the problem is that number of sf homes inside the beltway listed in 20817, 20815, and 20817 zipcodes around $800k number around a dozen. So, the sellers in other zipcodes and school clusters try....

The houses around this one look similar.

Oops! Should be 20814, 20815, 20817.

Anonymous wrote:The neighborhood does have some amazing houses that sit on 1/2 an acre. Most don't look like that crap hole. The second to last house that pp posted above is on the market for $1million+. Needs a lot of work but the structure is really nice.

the look is just cosmetic. Small fixes will change that.
The price is reasonable
