| No one will pay anywhere close to that....maybe the county or nonprofit for a group home. If you have $800k, you aren't even considering Silver Spring....you're looking in Ktown, Bethesda, or out in Olney/Brookeville for a McMansion on a big piece of property. |
| Dang. That is ugly. |
Plenty of room in 20910 sell for $800,000+. Do you need a list? |
|
| Um, not homes that look like THAT. Nice try, OP. |
I'm not the OP. PP did not mention anything about this house in particular. She said that no buyers with $800,000 are looking or buying in Silver Spring. That is not true. |
| Eh, it's pretty much the case. Unless you are looking for a special Victorian, you're looking elsewhere. |
|
Woodside Park is THE most beautiful and expensive part of Silver Spring, with very large lots and lovely houses set far back.
However since public schools are bad, the only reason you would want to live there is if you buy a beautiful house! So this one is obviously over-priced. |
| I think the house is overpriced, but I don't think it is that ugly. I think it is relatively neutral. |
We live in Woodside Park and love both our house and the schools, Einstein included. Many do not share your vire of the public schools here. |

Awwww. Are you the owner
|
|
some beautiful homes in this area
But the one OP posted? uh no
|
| That neighborhood is not Downtown Silver Spring. It may be advertised as DSS, but it is not DSS. |
| It's worth it ... if you work on the ship because you can walk to it. |
