Ok, who owns this house?

"Extensive, exotic landscaping" Hedges and small trees = exotic!

"A Mud Room was never like this!" = This mud room is exactly like every other mudroom, only it's bigger.

"This lush, hand milled and hand built trim is certainly worth bragging about!" Because we all know that people who can afford $34m homes spend a lot of time talking about wood trim.

"Endless Chesapeake Bay horizons" ...except that bridge right there blocking off the whole horizon.

"Even the details in the flooring at the Butler's Passthrough are too beautiful to be believed!" = Maybe I'm living in a fantasy land of unicorns and rainbows, but I found them to be believable.

"...a sumptuous lighting package using semi-precious nuggets and gems to enhance the space..." Nuggets!?

"...the engaging Deluxe Dressing Room houses luxury enhancements and detail to help you start your day in the most exciting surroundings!" Ultra wealthy people must have a pretty low bar for excitement.

"Supersized and made just for Him! Custom drawers and shelving help keep His wardrobe organized and accessible!" God lives here!?

"...minutes from Annapolis and nearby Metropolitan Washington, DC." I guess 120 minutes are still "minutes."

You forgot the "Cascading strands of crystal"

And who knew that "He" had about 50 pairs of khakis.

Yea, all khakis be unto him. And as it is such, so also as such is it unto you.

It feels weird typing his and his wife's name. They're just a couple selling their home, no matter how big the home might be.

What's the typo
Anonymous
weird. they bought the house for 2.6 in 2006.
The taxable value is $5.3.

And they're selling for $35+.

Well, it seems like the Magnum family lives there. They hosted a reelection event for Bob Ehrlich. Not much information out there, but the wife is Sonia Magnum. No idea what they do for a living, but I would guess that they might have something to do with Magnum Properties which seems to be a property brokerage and management firm specializing in waterfront properties on the Eastern Shore. But that's just an educated guess based on Google hits.

Can't find any info on this so called Magnum Family anywhere

+1 I think PP made that up.

I'm the PP who posted that. I didn't make it, up, I took it from this flyer:

But that's about the only information that I could find about Sonia Magnum

I was thinking the same thing. It was waaaaaaay over the top.

Yes, and funny that they must be totally down to earth judging their shoe collection....a bunch of tired sandals and dockers.

Which means that she's just some lady whose husband made a ton of money, and is trying to keep a low profile. She's not crashing white house dinners or selling her baby's christening to US Weekly. So can you leave her alone, please?

It's the house that petunias built - http://voices.washingtonpost.com/washbizblog/2008/06/value_added_pushing_petunias.html. Well, good for them.

Sure, a lot of the decor looks like something from Bed Bath & Beyond (which is bold colors and patterns because they assume you're putting it in a rental-white shoebox of an apartment), but I kind of love the light.

Nouveau. Yuck.

^^and the house is assessed at only $5M

Owners don't have a massive mortgage because they paid $2.5 million. They probably put in another few million and are now charging $35 million for a tidy $30 million profit.
It's a bit ridiculous.
