Gmail isn't perfect. Not that easy either. I often can't find messages or get lost in the message string because of the illogical place it puts new messages, etc. |

My husband has gmail. I deliberately chose another ISP for that reason, so he can't find the email app on my phone. |

melissa mayer is one of the biggest jokes as a ceo.
She has done nothing in her tenure at yahoo. Any enterprise gains have been through prior investments made by yahoo long before her time in alibaba. Yahoo core business (mail, search, etc) actually has negative value to the enterprise. She was brought in to turn that around. The honey moon is over - she was in the right place at the right time at google but she will not turn yahoo around. Now she wants a built a youtube competitor and get into 'entertainment/video originals'. We all know what she really wants to be - a 'star' and boss in hollywood, not a tech ceo. anyone who uses yahoo should stop at once. |

| I thought it was broken after the last update a few months back - but it just didn't work with my browser. Now I only look at it on my phone or using Firefox. |

Well, I hated the last update at the beginning of the year, but it hasn't been a problem for me and I use it daily.
Although I also use gmail, I only use that for places where I need to toss an email address and don't want the spam and for my calendar. The Google disclosure clause is completely obnoxious and since I conduct a lot of business via email, I really don't need them wading through my email to tailor advertising to me. I don't need them to own every photo and document that gets mailed to me with free usage of said information. So, because of the Google privacy invasion clause I will not use that for communication. I also have 13 years worth of mail in my Yahoo account and I find the search features to work better for me than the Google ones do. To each his/her own, but I'm sticking with Yahoo mail for now. |

| I have three old yahoo accounts I use for spam and online ordering. They are always freezing o shutting down my iPad. Probably fifty percent of the time I have to turn off my iPad and turn it on and log back in just to reply to someone's email. Those damn ads pop up in my email. I hate yahoo. |

| I've had a yahoo acct for years and just switched to gmail last month because yahoo sucks so bad lately. I've kept it for so long because it's printed on all my cards that I've been handing out for years, but I went a head and made the switch finally. Yahoo is painfully slow and unreliable. |
