umbrellagate: the latest fake conservative outrage

My 80 year old mother isn't afraid to get a few raindrops on her perfectly-coiffed hair and pretty outfit. Why you not like the rain, Obama? Scared of a few raindrops? Take it like a man!

What about his guest? Is it the American style to allow Prime Ministers of allied nations to stand in the rain?

Why did they have it outside? Didn't they check the weather report? Would they do this for a party?

Maybe Darrell Issa should investigate? Those seem like crucial issues for the future of the nation.

As luck would have it, one of the reporters I follow on Twitter was live tweeting the press conference. The rain came after the press conference had started and ended within a couple of minutes. It probably wasn't worth having the media relocate all of it's equipment and move everyone around simply because of the threat of momentary rain -- all to prevent Republicans from being outraged by the sight of a marine holding an umbrella.

im inclined to guess that obama and the head of the epa worked something out to make sure it rained and it that is the case, i hope issa investigates this and people go to jail cause its unamerican for the president and the head of the epa to control not only the weather but talk corporations to death to fund obamacare.

yeah i know there is no relation between the epa and the healthcare law, but aint nothing stopping me from making an out the ass analogy and arguing it to death anyway. its my patriotic right to be a dumb ass and i will take full advantage of that right

There are photographs of uniformed military personnel holding an umbrella for Reagan, Bush 1 and Bush 2 ...my guess is we could find more. So why the silly outrage over this common courtesy shown our Presidents...I'm sure it couldn't possibly be that the Marine is white and our President is black could it?

Really did he feel like a tool when he held an umbrella for the Gipper?

I'd like to see a pic of ANY other president having a Marine hold an umbrella for him! To anyone who has served in the military, it would be a huge insult to have to serve under a president that has never served, yet seems fit to make policy changes for those who are active...example...who the hell are Billy Clinton and Obama to allow fags into the military???? Huge morale killer, and don't act like it's not important. Morale is everything to a unit. And for that poor Marine, having to hold an umbrella for that Douchenozzle. I'd probably stick my service pistol in my mouth and pull the trigger, cause he'll never live that one down.

Conservative media will never show you the truth.

I don't know who feels like a tool, but you sheep must feel like the fool.

Someone always holds an umbrella for the President. Check out the photos of any of them during rain: sometimes it's secret service people, sometimes its military people.
