Since you have metabolic syndrome it is important to control weight but you should also know that there's a large genetic element to this as well. Even when you lose weight you need to keep on top of your cholesterol and perhaps take medication for it because the risk can occur in the absence of being overweight. |
You sounds fat to me. I just ate a wonderful croissant for lunch! |
No argument from me but don't ever post your stats at Skinny Gossip http://www.skinnygossip.com/forum/ |
Oh good lord. You are fat. Are your mirrors positioned at an upward angle? |
You're fat. Don't kid yourself. I'm 5'9 and 140 and I'm thin, but by no means skinny. |
PP actually said she looked emaciated when she was 115 after getting sick. She didn't say anything about what you look like. I'll say it though--you look like a jerk. |
Ok fatty mc fat. |
Yeah. Sorry PP, but you are fat. 5' gets you 100 lbs and 5 lbs for every additional inch. You're almost 30 lbs overweight. |
|
I'm 5'2" (on a good day) and 117- 119, and I could stand to lose 5 lbs easily, but not more than 10. I'm not overweight, but I'm not slim either. I looked chubby at 135 and too thin at 105. But that's just me.
However, I'm more concerned about health at this point--muscle mass (now that I'm over 40), strong bones, cholesterol, etc. And I know that my current diet (tons of coffee, not enough veggies, probably too many carbs, not enough dairy/calcium) and lack of exercise is horrible for my health. With full-time work and 2 little ones, its hard to exercise--but here I am, on DCUM instead of on my bike. OP, the real issue is health. the rest will follow. GOod luck to both of us. |
