Need reality check/suggestions re Husband

OP: he could definitely use some friends, although he really is not the type to complain much (vent). He loves to have people over, but it doesn't turn into a guy friend thing (we are a little busy these days ). So that is why it really is important for me to respond more productively when he does need to vent. I don't want to shut down his sharing, I just need to learn how to respond more positively. and I appreciate all of the thoughtful posts, especially the SAHD and 14:33--very productive. I'm always impressed by the perspective I gain from this website.
