Really? You could have stopped at "Carolyn is lovely." |
I work with a Carolyn nn Carol |
Care. |
coco or kiki |
Linnie (Lynnie? I guess I’m not sure of the spelling) is cute, and makes a little more sense then Callie, which doesn’t really stem from Carolyn. If I had to use Carolyn (nice name, just don’t love it) Id probably call her Linnie. |
Caro
Carrie Lynn (or Lyn to go along with the spelling in Carolyn) Care (Carebear as a joking affection thing) |
I wouldn't scrap the name based on this, and I'm sure the OP already knows this because it's a family name. My grandmother's name was Caroline, and people called her Carolyn all the time. I don't think she really minded that much, but it took me a while as a kid to figure out if I had been mistakenly saying her name wrong! ![]() |
CC? |
PP again I like short names so I'll say "C" or "CC"! |
I think Callie is my favorite! Shortened to Cal even. Annoying that people keep saying it's not a nickname for Carolyn. Molly is a nickname for Mary and Margaret. Nicknames don't follow some rigid formula. I think Winnie could even be an adorable nn for Carolyn.
Caro is my next favorite. Hate Lyn or Lynnie. That said I think it's probably best to see what nickname comes out once the little person's actually earthside but I get wanting to decide now if it makes or breaks the name choice. |
