Dirty secret- I shop at jcpenney.com for Me!

I went to a very expensive boarding school and all my towels were from Penney....I think one of the towels is still going and is now being used as rag ,20 years later! I am sure I cut tags out...

I shop at Target. Just bought a bunch of stuff today and can't wait to wear it all.

Google jcp promo and you will find a link on their site to get the coupon. I google store name promo every time I shop online and usually find a deal.

Sign up for the charge card; they send you all kinds of stuff.

I used to shop almost exclusively at JCP, including blazers (but excluding t-shirts: I prefer Sonoma from Kohls). Their website was always frustrating and has not improved, but I could usually put up with it. With the new price/ad campaign, though, I noticed the selection really diminished. The stuff they were offering was perhaps more trendy, but there was less of it and especially less of the basics I wanted to buy: Worthington knits and slacks, for example. I haven't shopped there in over a year, I think.

So who did JCP pay to get them to start this thread?

I like JCP, but a lot of their stuff online is sold out when you go to purchase it. Weird. I usually shop at TJMaxx or Marshall's or Nordie's on sale. I never buy clothes at Target, even though I buy lots of Target clothes for the kids.

If I had a lotta money, I'd still buy at TJMaxx and Marshalls. I love the hunt! And I love a bargain. I have so many clothes that I dont' need to shop anyway. It's just entertainment for me.

OP here and I find it amusing some think I'm a jcp plant. Actually I' m a lawyer, not a jcp employee, and I horrified a coworker when she asked me where I bought a blouse.
And yes, I do go into the store, that's how I know the online selection is much better than in-store.
