Dirty secret- I shop at jcpenney.com for Me!

I like JCP a lot- never shopped online- too difficult. BUT, I do find that some of their items don't last long and fall apart.

I think JCPenney is grossly overpriced. The last time I went there I grabbed a sweater off the rack and then gasped when I saw the price tag. $79.99 for acrylic with a few beads? I want to buy a sweater there for $20-$40, not $50-$80. If I wanted to pay that I'd go somewhere more upscale.

I recently bought two dresses from JCPenney's new Joe Fresh clothing line, which is a Canadian brand. It's something they just started, I read, to get people interested in the store. The stuff is really cute, super affordable, and fits me great (I'm only 5'3 and didn't have to hem either dress!) I was seriously shocked how much I liked the stuff--I figured it was worth a look but didn't think I'd love it.

I miss their St. Johns Bay pants. I am a curvy woman and they are the only ones that actually fit me well. I would be happy if they brought them back.

I buy a lot of clothes from Target.

I recently bought a pair of shoes from Payless. I even used a coupon.

My weight fluctuates a lot, on account of I have insulin resistance, and I eat like a pig. JcPenny, Target, Walmart and Kmart are cheap and I can run out and buy something when nothing I have fits.

I love JCP because they run tall sizes, which I can't get at other department stores.

JCPenny used to be my go to place, but now its too far away and their online stuff takes forever!

But my dirty little secret....i have bought clothes at Walmart. My favorite jeans are from there. And I even have a few work shirts (they had a line for awhile that was decent). My mom is appalled.

I find it funny that OP thinks shopping at Penney's is a 'dirty secret'. I don't know many people who don't shop there. Not everyone on these boards spends a fortune on clothes.

Me, too. T-shirts. Their quality turned out to be pretty good, on par with Gap, and definitely better than Target/Old Navy.

I started shopping there after I had my last baby and needed cheep, machine washable work clothes while I struggled to lose the baby weight. It's hit or miss. Some things are great, while others lose their shape/get pilled after one or two washes. But the things that have washed well are super cute and were super cheap.

I just bought a cute summer dress at jcp for $15 with a coupon. I love finding cute things inexpensively. I hate splurging on something that I rarely use. If you like the item and price is right, who cares where it was purchased??!

You need to replace the bolded above with, "because".

Where are pps finding the JCP coupons? Thanks.

Anybody else find themselves buying all their clothes at Costco, or am I the only one?
