I feel so old school with wearing pantyhose - help me to break out of my shell!

No.

This was me. I had my leg hair lasered off. The treatment works very well if you have dark hair and pale skin. My legs look a lot better now.

Anonymous wrote:OP, I bought leg makeup today, and I feel like a new woman! I've never managed to use self-tanner in a way that looked natural. I either didn't spread it evenly, or there were dark patches where my skin is thicker/calloused, like my knees and the front of the ankle-- even after pumicing like crazy. The leg makeup looks awesome, goes on easily, and hasn't rubbed off on anything all day.

What did you buy? Recommend your product, please!

For the PP who asked about shoes w/o hose -- I wear footies that you can not see. Makes a huge comfort/sweatiness difference.

11:51 - bit of a TJ, sorry. But what brand of footies actually stay hidden in your shoes, yet don't slide off? I can't find any that stay hidden in flats and pumps.

Foot powder works fine with bare feet and pumps.

I wear light-toned hose with closed-toe shoes. I'm pasty and I have very dry skin even if I slather on the lotion several times a day. I'm glad they're coming back in style, for me choosing hose was the lesser of two evils.

Even though I'm self-conscious about the lizard skin, I don't wear hose when it's really hot out or if I wear open toed shoes/sandals. I'd rather look like a reptile than an octogenarian!

Not the PP, but low cut Hue brand.

When you find yourself responding to a Fashion thread in the voice of Norman Bates' mother, it's probably best to put down the Internet and walk away.

Just sayin'.

I must try to work this quote into conversation today. Now. Before breakfast.

LOL!!

Leg makeup poster here. I bought Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs. I think it was about $10. I'm pretty pale so I chose the lightest one of the 4 or so shades they offer. Rite-Aid.

I put it on yesterday after my shower. Woke up this morning, legs still looked great. Told my husband tonight that it's the best $10 I've spent on myself in the last ten years.

I have a job interview tomorrow and have tone but pale with some spider veins legs. Should I wear hose?
