OP Here: Yes it was. It was on the left side of my stomach except this time, it spread to the lower middle of my stomach too.

OP Here: Yes. I am going in on Wednesday to get blood drawn and was told that I would be sent for an MRI and X-Ray.

Good luck and hugs OP. Please keep us posted.

I had this happen in my early 20's. Turned out to be transient ischemic attacks due to a heart defect. I had surgery to fix my heart and haven't had a problem since.

OP Here: I was born with a heart murmur that as of 2006, was partially closed up so I know that is something that they want to check out too.

Just want to say good for you for going and getting checked out, OP. These things are scary, and I hope you get reassuring news. All the best to you.

My sincere, honest advice is check it out, don't delay. Even a so-called mini-stroke could be a problem. I still have limited feeling on my entire left side. My life has not been fun for the past year or so.

How old were you and what was your general state of health when this happened?

Thinking of you, OP. Please keep us posted.

Please update after your visit! Good luck--I hope it's nothing serious!

Btw my first thought was something affecting the nerves around the spine. The elevated blood pressure and dizziness could have bean fear and anxiety - it was a very scary siruation. Hope whatever it is resolves quickly!!

I had a PFO. I got into distance running in college after being a dancer my whole life. The extended strain on my heart forced too much blood through the atria so my brain would go without near enough oxygen. I got migraines for the first few months before I had my first TIA. They assumed because of the migraines that it was purely neurological until they went through my siblings histories. Surgery was easy, but I am now deaf on my left side.
