Mitch McConnell taped scheming to paint Ashley Judd as "emotionally unstable"

"They certainly were not authorized to be there, if they were indeed there," Benton said of the Progress Kentucky operatives.

How exactly did they "authorize" people at an open house??

There is security detail regardless.

In addition, why the hell is this even inflammatory? Judd, as mentioned previously, was very open about her mental illness. I would certainly want to know the mental status of someone who was planning to take office.

They were at an open house hosted by the McConnell campaign, and the conversation could be plainly heard in the hallway. What part of "open house" do you not understand?

FBI understands it better. That is why they are investigating. Dont bother your small head.

Mitch McConnell staffers really went there about mental illness. That was depraved.

That wasn't Mother Jones. I realize Rs like to shoot the messenger, but come on.

I have my money on disgruntled McConnell staffer or someone else with access. I doubt anyone bugged the room. If they didn't they wouldn't be so stupid as to leak it. And I'm pretty sure Corn vetted that.

The bigger point is the utter depravity of the McConnell camp in its way of thinking.

Thought the comment about the newspaper is arrogant beyond the pale as well.

I'm a liberal Dem and was floored by Romney's 47% comments. That was BAD.

This, though, is the type of thing I imagine every campaign talks about behind closed doors. A little not politically correct, and a little embarrassing that it's public, but other than that, seems par for the course. Her history of mental illness *would* be a negative in a campaign, right? Silly for them not to discuss it.

The FBI is investigating it because they were asked to investigate it. Do you think that a Dem led FBI can say no when the Republican Senate Minority Leader claims his office was bugged?? McConnell didn't even know who did it when he called them.

The presence of an investigation <> guilt.

Glad the wingnuts have something new to perseverate about. If felt bad because Benghazi ran out of steam for you, and no one talks about the gun walking program, so this is a good replacement for your outrage.

This could last months, esp. after the FBI concludes there was no crime. Then you can investigate how the WH influenced the investigation and start saying things like "how far does the conspiracy go?". Fun for everyone.

Give me a break! Do you really believe that two DEM operatives from the group that attacked Mc's wife just "happened" to be able to hear the conversation?

Exactly. She wouldn't be allowed to legally obtain a gun but, she could run the Country and get a security clearance. Makes perfect sense.

+1 "The Ends Justify the Means."

When you live by the sword, you tend to die by the sword. This race is gonna be something else.

Very telling libs are do 'into' mental health for gun owners, but have no issues having a person with a history of mental illness legislating. But then, libs have no issue with domestic terrorists teaching their kids

Your anger is showing. Does this issue touch a nerve with you. Dipshit.

(the dipshit comment is because you want to call people names)

No. Amused is the word you are looming for. I'm glad the wingnuts have a distraction. It keeps them out of the real stuff.

You are not amused. You are angry, but passive aggressive. It is a liberal tendency.
