Plenty of people are getting higher raises, extra shares, etc. they just haven't posted here.

I can see that, but surprised, because we often see people posting their astronomical salaries at BIGLAW or what not entrepreneurial gig, so figured those same people would be sharing their raise percentages (and generally posting a percentage is considered less gauche than the actual salary number).

Please someone educate me on HOW the "bubble" can continue to grow with no one getting raises and the cost of living continuing to sky rocket. I aint that smart, but maybe one-a-yous can kinda talk to me about how this is possible?

all you biglaw-ers, where are you?

DH's firm put big pressure on clients to get their payments in before the end of the year. Many complied, so share values went up quite a bit. That, coupled with a couple extra shares (sort of a raise), meant that DH's take home rose by 23%. I am in a different industry. I received a 10% raise and a bonus equivalent to my yearly salary.

Gov't contractor. Outstanding performance review, 0% raise. Contract, and my position, are losing money for the company right now based on labor rates.

Young fed contractor here making just under 100k. Got a 6% bump with a great review this year and 5.5% last year, plus an xmas bonus that has improved steadily each year (about 3k this year b4 taxes). In this economy, I am grateful and feel really appreciated with these #'s. it honestly makes me want to help the company succeed too.

See, I'm an old fed contractor making just under $100k. Nobody in my group has gotten a raise for two years and there are no bonuses. I'm getting my hours cut so I'm about 10% down so far this year. We're getting our benefits trimmed and the outlook is for us to continue shedding jobs. Sucks.
Can you tell me the name of where you're working? It sounds like you are excelling in a good field.

Work in a private school. Last year's salary was $50,000. Got a $500 raise....for the year. (:

I'm guessing the administrative cartel gave themselves a higher percentage raise.
