| Feds are taxpayers too. Just so you know when you try to trot out that tired insult. |
for a Christmas Eve off, you are wishing 6 years of no raise AND I'm sure more paycuts. You are a real peach. Do youknow how many professions and people are off on Christmas Eve? And have had raises and bonuses on top of it for the last three years, and next year? Why don't you vomit your hate at them as well here. |
Bet this was news to pp! |
Well said. What a nasty comment. |
Why don't you direct your hate somewhere more productive...or expensive..... ... Like writing to your House Representative to stop accepting ten thousands worth of blood money from the NRA to vote the way they want? |
I may not get a raise but I see my kids. |

Many private sector offices are closed between Christmas and New Year's. Federal government is not.
Tell me again why having 12/24 off is so unfair? |
| I was going to add to the attitude on this thread but you know what? I am happy to be alive and my kids are safe. So enjoy your holidays. Even you Grinches! |
...because the Federal workforce consists entirely of non-taxpaying North Koreans here on a temporary work visa! Including our soldiers and FBI agents. Crazy, I know! |
How about this link? http://www.whitehouse.gov/the-press-office/2012/12/21/executive-order-closing-executive-departments-and-agencies-federal-gover |
Times are not good. So POTUS has to be careful. If times were good or just okay, probably would have known weeks ago. |
Who are these private sector offices? I want to work for one of those companies. Signed, Employee of Fortune 500 company who is only off on Dec. 25 |
Yes, thank you, and thank you, Mr President, and may everyone have a merry Christmas! |
Other than those working at the mall, I think you'll be hard-pressed to find anyone in the private sector doing any work on Monday, either. |
