I was about to say the same thing. Yes OP, you are a cornball brother. Keep seeking that white validation on how well spoken you are, and whatever else cornballs act confused about. |
NP, but Jeff has conducted a survey on this matter. Moreover, even if Jeff had not conducted a survey, if you read this board long enough you just know. There are So many racially charged posts on DCUM, and clearly not enough Black readers to comment or defend. |
Ha ha...so profiling works in a largely "democratic" forum, but not for anything else, policing, preventing terrorism... Some of you need to turn in your cherished degrees if you believe Jeff's survey even approaches scientific. |

Just curious, but does Susan Rice's white husband make her a cornball sister? If so, I wouldn't tell her, she's had a rough couple of days.
So since her blackness should be rightfully challenged, would you be insulted to learn she probably drank LOTS of Chardonnay last night, you know, WHITE wine. I mean she's among the 95% blacks that vote democrat, right? |
You, on the other hand, should give some thought to completing your GED. |
My "cherished" degree can read the third party site traffic reports. Would you please provide your guess on the AA demographic of this website? |
Are you still arguing with the television set? Why don't you write ESPN and ask for some clarification. Because none of this has anything to do with us, or politics for that matter. It's a sports show. |
Agree. |
Sorry dick, I forgot that it's an essential requirement that I was supposed to ID myself as an NP...because only ONE person is in opposition to the typical DCUM world view. |
| Where in the world is Jeff? This thread needs an intervention. Stat. |
You must have been the oldest sibling and screamed for Mommy when your baby brother or sister took your toy. Did you ever in your life hit back? |
I'm the youngest of seven. Anything else? |
Why? I think this thread is interesting. Race is a huge issue in our society -- both between races and within races. I can understand the OP's frustration that factors frequently considered marks of success can provoke animosity from within his own community. At the same time, I also feel for minority groups that may feel success only comes from abandoning their culture. When two sides of a debate both have reasonable positions, it makes for an interesting discussion, don't you think? Of course, it is not uncommon for whites who adopt elements of black culture to be called names as well. This is certainly not unique to the black community. |
| Why is it posted in Politics? Too bad, as it started out it could have given Sports a boost. |
Drudge is pumping the story. So, if it wasn't political before, it is now. I think RGIII is about to pick up a slew of winger fans. |
