So as an African American attorney (woman) I think he was acquitted if the charges against him.

Christopher Darden is my personal hero, seriously. He did what he knew was the right thing to do. He could have refused to take the case, but he did not. I have every respect for him.
It was more about the attempt to diminish the loss of a blonde white woman. There is a common idea that black people die more often from violent crimes (not considering the cause or race of perpetrator) yet are forgotten more often. It is all relative. Few people will admit this, and I fully expect an unreasonable tirade and diatribe about this. If you know about race in society, this is no secret. If you are more concerned with being PC, you are not really interested in actual answers. |
