Thanks pp! It looks cute - too bad we can't see inside anymore. What are the schools for that address?

Ughh they got taken , horrible schools jeb stuart pyramid. 22043 and 22046 marshall, mclean or george mason are the right falls church zip codes. Avoid 22042 and 22044 unless you do private schools.

Really?? That's a bit of an exaggeration, don't you think? There definitely are more highly regarded pyramids in Fairfax County but it's all relative. Even the "worst" schools in Ffx county are pretty good when compared with the rest of the country.

Seriously, not everyone can afford those zip codes, and obviously many children survive and even thrive in those schools.

the price they paid was over the top for that zip

I loved this episode. When it started I thought they were in for a rude awakening. I found him to be annoying: clueless about the area he lives in and ridiculous with the all of the tvs for football. I kept thinking: your life is going to change when you have kids! Why would anyone want to marry someone who watches football for 11 hours? I know this happens, but ugh.

I was surprised they went with the house in Falls Church.

I'm not sure I agree. Smaller homes have been selling in my 22042 neighborhood for the mid 500's. Sleepy Hollow is a nice area and this house is nicely renovated. $600,000 sounds about right for the current market.

Well, it seems like he's the breadwinner as a Booz Allen Consultant, and let's her pursue her photography dream career, so probably why she accepts the 11 TVs and footballs.

So maybe they decided even if they have kids, she can just stay home and photograph on the kids, or even be a kids photographer.

A little puzzled by how they can afford $600k on his salary alone; does a Lead Associate at Booz pull down $200k?

My brother is a Lead Associate at Booz and he makes 6 figures, but not $200k... more in the $125k range. I wonder how much they put down- that obviously makes a big difference in their monthly payment.

Yeah, but how does some out of college 7 yrs have $200k saved up. Saving $30k a year while living in Arlington is impressive, but I guess possible.

I'm going to guess they had some parental assistance.

Oh! We rented a house in that neighborhood for a year when we first moved to the area. It's a nice, friendly neighborhood.
