Skinny jeans w/ sneakers? Or any other semi-stylish way for 37-yr-old mom to wear jeans & sneakers?

Hmmm. I don't hate these but do you know if there is a site that shows more views of the shoes, like Zappos does? It's hard to tell just from the profile what they actually look like. It seems like they look a lot like Converse, is that right? Thanks!

And, not that In Style is teh arbitor of all that is fashionable - plenty of things I would never wear there - but they were just featured as good "mom" shoes for someone trying to look a little more put together and still have on flats.

A skinny jean cut at or above the ankle with a retro style New Balance sneaker similar to the 442 model is a very currant look. The recent fashion weeks were swarming with fashionable ladies (not 15 year olds) sporting retro sneakers with high fashion. I think it looks much more fashion forward than even Converse or Keds. I've been wearing mine with skinny jeans, a black striped boatneck tee, and olive green parka.

Also search "new balance outfit" on Pintrest for tons of outfit inspiration.

Superga sneakers (Nordstrom has them) with rolled skinnies, a la Jennifer Aniston. I shamelessly stole this outfit from her and love it.

O god no. Wedge sneakers are for fashion victims.

Supergas are too thick and chunky (and a bit too trendy).

I like the Converse All Star Dainty Ox and the Vans Lo Pro.

THIS THREAD IS FROM 2012 PEOPLE!!

Also, I am the person who wrote about the Puma flats two years ago, haha! The person who says they're hideous has really poor taste.

Different post here. The Pumas are definitely ugly.
