We really don't care exactly when you show up at a disaster. Just don't show up with guys like this. Ever, ever again.

Mittens, you're doing a heck of a job!

So you use whatever the "off" button is on your remote, you step outside and you breathe the fresh, non-Foxy air for a few minutes. You click away from Rush and you breathe deeply as you realize no one's out to get you, there's no big conspiracy. And then one day you realize what a strangely myopic person you've been, angrily spouting slogans that, at your good core, you always knew were untrue. The sky will look a little bit bluer and the breeze will be a little sweeter. May there be fluffy clouds and smiling kittens as you start your life anew.

What exactly is Romney going to do? Pray for them? They are all about small government. They don't believe that government should help people in need; that's what the church collection plate is for. Look at the Ryan budget; it decimates all non-defense spending, i.e. FEMA.

Romney did less that that:

Romney and Jindal spent close to an hour meeting with first responders and local officials. Romney shook hands with National Guardsmen outside the U.S. Post Office and talked with a local resident, Jodie Chiarello, 42, who lost her home in Isaac's flooding.

"He just told me to, um, there's assistance out there," Chiarello said of her conversation with Romney. "He said, go home and call 211." That's a public service number offered in many states.

Romney: People who have lost their homes should go home and call 211.

Brilliant.

Did he check with Ryan first to see if it will still exist next year?

If romney jumped in front of a bullet that saved Obama's life the left would still find fault.

The right would say good riddance. Tell me I'm wrong. Nobody loves Mitt Romney. He's just your best shot at the White House.

I was being completely sarcastic, as we have a running joke in our house about how many rounds of golf he actually does play! I was going to write that I honestly don't care where he is, but after reading where he really is -- I do care. Thank you for putting me in my place! What he is doing is important and so are our military families. So... my joke was inappropriate. I admit it.

How very sad for you. All that precious time and you worry about how the President spends his very limited leisure time?

what exactly did romney do vs take away vital resources fro
public responders who could have used the time to help people affected by the storm?

did her declare a state of emergency? nope, can't do that.

did he declare funds for disaster relief? nope, can't do that.

so basically he wasted public resources to stage a photo-op.
