“I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ.” -Ghandi

Was Ghandi a bigot too?

Ghandi could spell. Don't you dare to compare yourself to him.

Answer the question. And "let he who is without sin (apparently on DCUM, spelling errors are sins) cast the first stone." Have you never EVER made a mistake in your life? Typical fake-ass Christian response from you. A real Christian wouldn't condemn me, they'd forgive me. You don't even know about your own religion.

You're such a moron. I never said I was a Christian.

OP here: Yet another ad hominem attack instead of answering the question: Ghandi did not qualify his remarks about Christians. Was he a bigot too? Can you answer or just respond with insults and japes. (PS I apologize for my insult of calling you a Christian.)

OP, please. Your spelling error is not a "sin." If you read DCUM at all, you know that people here expect thoughtful points to back up the statement you made in your subject line. You did not provide that. Thus, you look like a fool. A fool, not a sinner. There is a difference.

PP, if YOU read DCUM at all, you have to notice that the denizens here love to pounce on a spelling/grammatical error, and will use such as an excuse to discount anything the OP (in this case, me) has written. Therefore, it is a DCUM sin to misspell words or to use improper grammar in a post. To address your other point, I quoted a greater person than both of us (Ghandi) to back up my sentiment. I HAVE SINNED AGAINST THE DCUM SPELLING GESTAPO AND THE GRAMMAR SS!

And to be clear, you've "sinned" against humanistic principles. In particular, the humanistic principle of not demonizing an entire racial, religious, national, or other group.

Yes I've made several mistakes in life but you're still a moron.

OP, you sound like someone who says that all Muslims are terrorists because of the actions of a few, which I can't stand, being Muslim.

You have a very narrow minded way of thinking. Have you met every single Christian to speak the truth? Obviously not. Every religion has hypocrites.

Thanks for this, Muslim poster!

Are you male or female?

How do you feel about the hijab and burqa?

I don't think you can be a feminist and wear either one, especially not a burqa. But for a Muslim woman to call herself a feminist as she wears a hijab, do you think that's hypocritical?

I had a colleague who stopped covering after her husband (arranged marriage) beat her. She divorced him and remarried - another Muslim - but she no longer covers. I don't know how removed she is from her beliefs at this point, as she's moved away. But I would love to talk to her, as we had some very deep conversations about religion before her divorce.

blah blah blah. I'm not the one who said that the people killed in Aurora are going to hell. I didn't say Katrina was punishment from God for "Southern Decadence". And I am just as guilty as Ghandi about "sinning against humanistic principles." My statements apply to "all Christians" as much as his do.

she didn't feel comfortable showing her hair.

i joke saying i felt the same way when i went from the US to Brazil and didn't feel comfortable wearing a brazilian bikini anymore.
