| Hmmm, OP, I'm more put off by the idea that you use the term "bitch" as your ultimate criticism. As though his mistake was to act like a woman would. |
save me the bra burning "i am woman hear me roar" speech ok? i wasnt implying he was acting like a woman. men can be scared little bitches just the same as a woman. the word doesnt apply to one gender over another to me. and it was actually the mother in the case of this exact story that didnt pulled her 4 month old to safety and i dont see her as acting like a "man" for doing what she did. if anything she has more balls (am i allowed to say that or are you put off by that description too?) than he does cause her natural instinct was the safety of both her children. im not addressing this issue anymore so if you are still upset by my use of the word bitch, my concern for it starts and ends with this reply. thanks for playing i guess. |

Not only did the man put his baby down and flee, he drove away.
Another man (a teenager, actially!), Jarell Brooks, actually covered up the woman and her children to help them and took a bullet because of it: http://abcnews.go.com/GMA/video/colorado-movie-theater-shooting-heroism-16827192 |

Jarell Brooks is a great man. What he did, for total strangers, in the face of extreme personal danger, is unbeliveably strong, brave and selfless. During the interview he even refuses to call himself a hero. His mother should be so proud.
During the interiew, the girl/mother (whom he saved) seems to still be in total shock. I have a feeling, when she comes out of the fog or shock, she will not marry the guy who left her and their children. I hope I am right. Regardless, I hope she shows Jarell the true gratitude and thanks he so rightly deserves. I think they must have been told to stay facing the camera. Nothing else could expalin how stuiff she is and how she doesnt look at him. I hope to God after the interview, or before it, or both, she got up and hugged Jarrell with all her might. |

Uhm, because you're an idiot? For that and other transgressions? You're clearly not the usual user of DCUM-please go away to whatever illiterate forums you usually haunt. |

1522 i dont give a rats ass about your little gripe about the word bitch.
its used to describe both men and women. sure if your ass wants to show how smart you are and give me a history lesson of the word, by all means go ahead and waste your time. ill concede to your superior intelligence and you win. bitch is a word historically used to describe women. now what? where do we go from here? how does this add to the thread now that youve won? i started a topic about a guy who abandoned his family and i called him a bitch. you come in and want to be ms/mr PC and start playing dr. phil with my ass being "disturbed" by my use of the word bitch to describe a man. then when i dont show one iota of a fuck about what you think about my use of the word, you go to the next strategy of pointing out an incorrect use of grammar cause you need to come out on top. and im purposely cussing like a pirate to give you more ammunition so you can wax poetic on how you can "break me down" without using foul language so thats supposedly 3 things you got above me. bravo mother fucker. you the fucking man or woman! i applaud your ass for being so great and amazing. |
Lots of people say that about the words "fairy" and "fag". But it's not true there either. |
I love you. And no, "YOU" the fucking man.
|
I heard Jerry Springer is having casting calls. |
you are correct and i guess i could have said the man was being gay but i didnt. now what? |
Now you realize how the terms are all similar, in that they derive their power in the same way. Maybe you went around calling people fags when you were eight, but you grew up because you realized the problem with that. |
| sticks and stones and all that. I agree the guy was a bitch/douche/loser/coward/fairy, whatever you want to call him. |

NP here.
That dude was a bitch...or a total pussy. |
