Right. It makes sense only if you can prove THIS anonymous poster had used profanity in an earlier post, which you can't. |
Look in Falls Church City. Cute little town and the best "regular" public schools in the area. |
I'm currently in a 2br 2ba apartment in Bethesda for $2500/month. Utilities are cheap--the building is newish. Schools are good. It's very close to the metro and is just right for me, DH and our 2 year old. However, I think it would be tight for your family. |
Tiny schools with minimal diversity and limited class options compared to Arlington, Fairfax or Montgomery. Almost as good as Idaho! No thanks. |
Better quality education and less problems though. |
We looked at FCC are were not impressed. Apart from offering Chinese, the curriculum is mediocre, particularly as to math/science courses and other electives. |
Really? Then MCPS with its Curriculum 2.0 and differentiated instruction will seem horrible to you. My DS was bored in class while the teacher was occupied with students working several below his level. The disruption from kids was overwhelming the teacher. Our move to an FCPS school area, though not optimum, gave DS access to different levels of gifted services. He is doing better. The lesson we learned was never listen to Realtors, union associated teachers, etc. Do your research well. |
Takoma Park is a cute little town. Falls Church City is a bunch of ugly houses, strip malls and bowling alleys. |
