Original Toms - ugly or okay?

Although I should confess I am 45, so I suppose I'm too old to comment on what is trendy! I think these Original Tom shoes are so ugly that people buy them to say "Look how cute I am-- so cute I can wear ugly shoes --- and get away with it!"

And they are right, too!

I admit I need nice shoes to look attractive at this point in my life, and God Bless you kids for trying out these new, kinda ugly trends. So glad I don't have to participate anymore, but it is fun to see them on you youngsters!

who cares what others think.. if you think they are comfy, cute, etc then wear them.
i don't have toms (yet) but i think they look fine on my friends who are all in their early 30s. i have seen them on older women too and they look good on them too.
i wear high end designer shoes to even crocs, which are amazing btw for playground and muddy parks. i've actually gotten compliments on my crocs quite a bit from young and old and they want to know exactly where i got them.

I would rather buy attractive shoes and donate to a charity of my choice, than buy overpriced fabric ugly shoes and have the company give more ugly shoes to poor children. That's my choice and I'm sticking with it.
