| Not for girls night or date night but playground/dog walking/grocery shopping? I tried the "ballet" style but they were really uncomfortable. I was looking at the gray ones... |
| I think they're ugly as sin ... but they're trendy, so it's ok. |
| the new croc, ugg.etc... |
| I've never worn a Croc so I can't vouch for its comfort, but I love my Toms. They feel like I'm wearing slippers and are similar in style to an espadrille, so they're not as whacked-out looking as a Croc... IMO. |
| Are they comfy? They seem so flat with no support. Like those little chinese Mary Jane looking shoes we used to wear |
|
OP, if they were so uncomfortable, why do you want to buy another pair?
There are those who love them, and those who think they are ugly as sin, so you'll have to decide which camp you fall into. |
| If girls AND boys can wear them they aren't for me. |
| I think they are very cute in a traditional preppy sort of way for the times/places you want to wear them. |
| Fugly! Wouldnt even walk my dogs in them. |
I agree. The guys I see wearing Toms are wannabe hipsters. |
They are for me - maybe not for everyone. I'm pretty flat-footed, so who knows. Seems like the consensus here is that they're ugly, but who knows what demographic is responding. OP, if it matters, I'm 29 with two kids and I wear my Toms all the time... but, so does my teenage sister. I'm just not to the Dansko stage in life yet, I guess. |
| I wish they were cute. But they are not. |
| They are cute. |
|
The are the new KEDS. Remember KEDS from the 80s?
Toms=Keds without laces. |
Not cute, not cute at all. I think they are just as bad as Dankso's, Tevo's, and dirty whit tennis shoes...they scream dog walker. 33 2 kids Jimmy Choo's to work FRYE boots with some jeans Chloe Ballet Flats to walk the dog I probably have more shoes than Imelda Marcos and I'd never wear those canvas old lady shoes. |
