I am not the PP, but my son's at Glebe and they were outside to see it. My DH was there volunteering at that time. It flew over 2 times.


Great! Our prinicpal at Science Focus just sent an email that all kids were outside and got to see historic moment. She included a photo. I am so glad because at least one of my kids is old enough to remember it.

It makes me kind of sad to think there will be no more manned space missions. When I was a kid (I'm in my 40s now), being an astronaut was one of those professions all adventurous boys and girls wanted to be. No more. <<sigh>>

Yep I was cluelessly on my way to Sibley near AU Park when it buzzed right over me - so close! Very cool.
