My boss decided to have meeting at 9:30 needless to say I missed it. Why would she do that?

| They're still looping around the area guys. 5 passes so far. Set up a lawn chair in you back yard and watch. |
|
Saw it on East-West highway and Conn. Ave. at 10:10.
Industrial strength goosebumps!! |
| Touch down at 11:08 AM. Those pilots that flew Discovery in are so badass. |
| Opps, meant OVER... |
| Oops, meant OVER. I just turned 59; I'm ahaving a brain fart |
I know. I didn't think I would be so excited . I think because I didn't plan anything and was just sitting here working when I heard the roar outside my front door. Pretty damn cool!

There is a site where you can see a still photo and there is a webcam set up at Dulles where you can see the shuttle and its carrier on the runway. They landed a short while ago.

| It was awesome. Went right over our house in Arlington twice. Called my son's elementary (just a couple of blocks away), and fortunately they had the kids out to see it. When I ran outside to see it the first time, I saw a couple of people walking about a block away and they WEREN'T LOOKING UP. Argh! |
Oh good! Which Arl Elem? I am hoping my son got to see it. |
|
| If you're on instagram or twitter, check out hashtags #spottheshuttle and #welcomediscovery. Some great pics! |
I am not the PP, but my son's at Glebe and they were outside to see it. My DH was there volunteering at that time. It flew over 2 times. |

Saw it in the Vehicle Assembly Building last week at Cape Canaveral. It's not the end of the space program, there are a bunch more launches scheduled, but it is the end of the space shuttle program.
