I am in Lyon Village in Clarendon. I heard the noise and ran out and saw it!!! Unfortunately--didn't get a pic in time.

My preschooler must have seen it since they are outside waiting and in same path--yea!

I am so jealous...such poor planning on my part -- I really wish I had let my daughter skip preschool and we had gone to see it. Ugh, I hate it when I drop the ball!

It flew right over me while in traffic on 28..people were pulling off to the side to take pictures!

It was and I am KILLING myself that I missed the shot of it over our house! That would have been a keeper for kids...ugh!

Earth rise from the moon: Dec. 22, 1968. Thank you NASA. I'm sad to see the space program go. Yes Discovery only ever went into orbit. But still, so awesome... No more American astronauts...*sniff*
