Why do you support Obama?

OP is a troll. It's clear from his post that he would never have supported Obama in 2008.

OP, did you also only realize that he was Black after the election? Why not say so, then?

As long as he makes douchebags' heads explode, I'm OK with that.

I guess she'll be a Gingrich supporter. He's the $2.50 gas president.

Aside from the fact that it's a bit of an exaggeration of what she said in her excitement (that she'd be able to count on him to help if she had trouble), it's insulting to use Black Grammar when she spoke standard English. This kind of thing lends credence to the belief that anti-Obama sentiment is partly racial.

My question is why do you support Obama? I no longer do because: he signed the NDAA, he appoints ex big bankers to his administration, he appoints ex Monsanto workers to FDA positions, he cut funding for the DC school voucher programs that helps poor children get in to private schools, he didn't bring the troops home ( look up Status of Forces Agreement), he is a supporter of Planned Parenthood ( the abortions are just one problem wih PP), forced vaccines through Obamacare.

you are full of crap. you may have supported obama in 08 but you decide to look up all these things nearly 4 years after the fact? did you decide to vote for him in 08 and crawl in a hole only to come out 3.5 years later to see how things are going?

im iffy on obama (voted for him in 08) but i have no desire or interest with the republican candidates either.

ill vote in november but may end up skipping voting for president and punch my votes for other elected officials and so forth.

I share the disappointments of the last few posters that Obama has not carried through anywhere near as much as I'd like to have seen. However, he has at least not actively worked to destroy the things I want our government to do, as the GOP candidates promise they will. So unless some really unforeseen development occurs, I will vote for him.

Not so much "lesser of two evils" as "better blah than evil".
Great bumper sticker, no?

More for my own benefit than because anyone else cares: 11:04 was me, forgetting to sign in after closing my browser.

Then I'm sure we can expect to hear nothing more from you on this topic.

I'm shocked there is gambling going on in this establishment.

"I'm curious: if you're planning on voting for Jimmy Carter rather than "Beelzeebub, The Lord of The Flies" in the coming election, could you explain your thinking? I'm planning on leaving the President field blank, and just casting a vote for the state and local races."

Is that a serious question? Have you taken stock of the alternatives?

The Republicans are not exactly putting forth their first-string players. (Are there any?) Their options range from tone-deaf to fringe freak.
