Why do you support Obama?

Anonymous
I was a supporter of Obama in 2008. I then started to hear people call him a puppet, liar, etc...I then started to research him and his policies. My question is why do you support Obama? I no longer do because: he signed the NDAA, he appoints ex big bankers to his administration, he appoints ex Monsanto workers to FDA positions, he cut funding for the DC school voucher programs that helps poor children get in to private schools, he didn't bring the troops home ( look up Status of Forces Agreement), he is a supporter of Planned Parenthood ( the abortions are just one problem wih PP), forced vaccines through Obamacare.

Have you seen who the GOP is proposing??

He sings better than Romney

Obama's failing has been naivete in thinking he could/should work with the Republicans. If he hadn't taken the compromise route, he would be sailing to victory. As it is, he will win because the GOP is putting forth the most pathetic pool of candidates in the history of history.

I support Obama enthusiastically. No I don't agree with everything he's done, but I trust him to do what is right for this country instead of what is right for the 5 rich guys who bought him the office.

An Eisenhower Republican is a thousand times better than a anything the modern GOP is serving up.

At the end of the day it's Sotomayor versus Scalia. Pretty obvious when you put it that way.

The end of DADT and DOMAthe health are bill, the death of bin laden, the end of a war Are some reasons.

There are some disappointments, gtmo and medical
Marijuana among them, but overall, I support him.

Regardless of my feelings about Obama, if any of the Republicans get into office they will repeal the health care bill and I don't want to see that happen. We so desperately need a better health care plan and we've made a step forward. I don't want to take two steps back!!!!

The democrats and republicans work for the same rich elitists! It doesn't matter who wins! Corporations, big banks, big pharma, etc... Have taken over. Look deeper people!! Why have the last 3 presidents appointed people from the same corporations?

Government forced healthcare is not a great thing. Yes, it has helped many families. However, they are hurting as well. Do you really trust the government with your health. Big pharma is not your friend!

DOMA isn't over PP, but I am hopeful we could be rid of it with another term and judges that get appointed by his administration.

Bush and Iraq put together the Status of Forces Agreement, which states that troops will be out of Iraq by December 2011. Obama had to bring the troops home! It was not his choice.

The fact is that Obama campaigned hard on bringing the troops home. Bush fought it until the Iraqi government forced him to do it.

Then when we got to the end of our time in Iraq, the Republicans mercilessly pummeled the President for not finding a way to allow us to leave troops there.

So the record is clear. The Democrats wanted us out. The Republicans wanted us to stay. You can't rewrite history. Google has a long memory.

So, why didn't Obama bring the troops home before Dec. 2011? During his campaign, he promised to bring them home as soon as he got in office.

I have no choice but to always, always vote Dem because of the Rep stance on personal liberties, ie. recent vagina controversy and gay rights.

And I'm not gay nor will I ever need an abortion.
