Yes, exactly. OP, so you even have kids? If you do, and are able to get showered/made up/hair washed/kids cleaned and fed all before going to the playground, please do share your secret! I can barely get my corduroys on in the right direction. You're lucky I show up with pants on.

This is tragic. Without high-waisted momjeans, how will I hide my FUPA? (Google it, I'm too humiliated to describe)
Anonymous
on second thought, nothing really disguises a FUPA except a fanny pack worn in front.

I dont wear mom jeans or corduroys but I dont give a crap if someone else wants to wear them. Who cares? I have other stuff to worry about

I'm okay with just about anything but butt crack c. 1992. Anyone else?
Oh and those Hunter boots DO say you are trying too hard. I personally don't care who wears capris. But other than that, I'm cool with just about anything.

DC is a fairly urbane city. Mom jeans are not the norm. High-waisted fashion jeans, maybe, but I'm guessing OP can't tell the difference.

I just got a pair of Not Your Daughter's Jeans cords and both times I have worn them I have gotten major compliments on the way they made my ass look. From women 15+ years my junior, so I know it's not bull. Bonus: I don't have to suck my gut in all the time. Bring it!

I am an Urban Dad. I have have several questions about mom pants and corduroys.

1. Is there an age requirement to wear them?
2. Do you need to have a nice butt to make corduroys sexy?
3. How do guys know the OP is a woman.....hmmm?
4. Is there a wardrobe upgrade that the dad's on the playgrond need start doing?
My DW still rocks her maternity jeans, 3 yrs. later. Lol!

I just wear jeggins under capris and that takes care of the space till my ankle boots kick in.

This made me bust out laughing!

Yes, you need a nice ass to make corduroys look sexy. You need a nice ass to make any pants look sexy.

The rest of the questions are not even worth answering.

My youngest is 8 y.o. and I still buy shirts in the maternity section of Target.

Boot leg or skinny cords are great . Pair with boots and you are good to go, but you should be size 8 or below. Mom jeans are awful. You van buy decent non mom jeans anywhere now, even target. How much effort does it take to buy and wear one dark rinse boot or straight legged Jean?? Also like an ankle length cord or Jean (tapered) with ballet flat. Very easy mom outfit that looks cute!
