Is this for real? College Gardens Elementary horror story.

My DS got his fingers stuck in a door at school several years ago. Other than the fact that the school had the doors it wasn't their fault. His fingers were just badly bruised.

My son told me that there was lots of blod. Can there be a blood involved if a child get fingers stucked in the door? I wish the school have send more info about the incident.
Official note sent to parents stated that " the emergency services took the child safely away from school to the hospital in the ambulance".

This is the same langauge that this principal used in his previous school. Everything was always so vague. Why is he talking about the process of taking the child away rather than about the accident itself.
