This is my problem with t-shirts that have writing on them...

Or, the boys have different rules than the girls... they are kinda two different games, they aren't the same game. Does she know that?

I brought my lbaby home from the hospital in a onesie that read:

"Do I look like I was born yesterday?"

I thought it was hilarious.

And I am going to try and find the "run like a girl" shirt. Love the message.

Agree that the JC Penny shirt sucked wild ass.

I'm not a big fan of logo tees but I'm OK w/ a spiderman or batman shirt or two. What I hate more than the logo tees are the ones that advertise....like Calvin Klein or Gap for example. Sorry, but if you want me to be a walking billboard for you then you should pay me not the other way around! To me those are far tackier than a superman or mickey mouse shirt.

I agree!

DD saw a tshirt saying, "You didn't just lose, you were beaten by a girl." We looked online but couldn't find it - this was a few years ago. I was a little on the fence about it. Good message, but was it necessary to taunt.

Children's Place had a t shirt with a little girl ducking behind something that read, "I'm hiding from my homework." I would not buy that. Wouldn't want to plant that seed in a 6 year old. I'm fine with most of the shirts, but stuff like this and the JC Penny one...no way!

16:07 She knows and plays both well. Hates that it's different for girls. She knows what she likes and I love it.

Just shared this with DH - whose response was to laugh and say that's funny. I said no, it's not. It's demeaning and I would never let DD wear that. He said people didn't interpret the shirt right and created an uproar so jcp took it off shelves. I said of course you would think so - you grew up in an all male house with no insight on why this offends. A girl can be pretty and still do homework. He said I need a better sense of humor He infuriates me!
