This is my problem with t-shirts that have writing on them...

There are some cute ones out there... the one the blogger mentions that says "I still live with my parents", for example. I bought a onesie for a friend that said "I might barf" with one of the yellow caution triangles.

But anything that says "little princess" or "I'm a cutie!" or "daddy's little girl"... HELL no. And the one you've linked to... there are no words strong enough to express the hellness of the no.

I want a shirt that says "My Mom got this at the Store for the Poors."

Not all of them are like that. I have no issue with logos/sayings/pictures as long as they aren't offensive or demeaning.

Wait... wasn't this an overblown topic a while ago? Let it rest.

*always*
well I guess it that is the case, there is no room for argument and no need for this thread?

Frankly, I will allow my kid to rock her "I love hanging with Dad" onesie...w/2 bats on a tree....any day of the year

OP here, there are some kinda hipster tees that maybe don't fit this mold. BUT the vast majority fit this craptastic mold and you won't see my son in a 'Daddy's Little Slugger' or 'Chicks Dig Me' shirt.

What's wrong with Daddy's Little Slugger or Chicks Dig Me. I find them entertaining. To each his own.

I refuse to allow my kids to wear graphic tees until they are old enough to earn their own money and shop for themselves.

My daughter just asked for and got a tee shirt that reads, "Yeah I play like a girl! Jealous?". I love it. But this is the kid that refuses to play lacrosse because the girls have different rules from the boys.

I agree! I can't stand baby clothing with this stuff on it. Another is the "iPood" onesie we saw in Buy Buy Baby the other day...gross!

I think the trashy ones like "bitch better have my milk" is funny, but I'm offbeat like that.

That is totally my sense of humor but I would NEVER put my kid in that. Yeah, it's ironic, tongue-in-cheek, etc. But it's vulgar therefore an infant shouldn't be wearing it.
