You'd be talking for the entire show: "all girls aren't that pretty or no need to be so concerned about looks; you don't wear that much make up . . .ever; you should never steal money from my wallet; most 16 year olds don't drive in their own convertibles; not a good idea to flirt, have sex with teacher or to lie to boyfriend about it; shouldn't have sex with girlfriend in your room; shouldn't be out late at night without parents knowing where you are; should not lie to police, parents, doctors, teachers, etc. about a murder investigation, about the teacher having sex with a student, etc., etc., etc." Really, there's little redeeming value to the show at all for those younger than high school age.

So basically, 12 year olds should be watching iCarly.

Appears like it would be better for the 12 year old to watch Sex and the City. Honestly.
I don't know Pretty Lottle Liars, but it sounds 50 shades of awful.

I would recommend watching old Gilmore Girls to prepare for the reboot.

It's scary and racy. ABC family is full of trashy guilty pleasure type shows. I don't think I'd let my 12yo watch.
