Class sizes in private vers public

Private, pre-K, 16 kids, 2 teachers, one occassional floater

MCPS k 18 kids, 1 paraeducator, I think she is there for a child in a wheelchair though, not sure

I was told by an acquaintance they had 28 kids in a private school near us, but he must have meant there was 2 teachers, right?

We looked at a Catholic school with 22 kids in K, but that is high for k-12 prep schools. They usually have less than 15 students to 1 teacher and in HS prehaps 19 or 20 students to a teacher. Some schools stay at around 15 - 18 students.
