Same here - also from Chicago. |
36.5 for #1. 37.5 now and not sure if we're done. |
My ideal is 26, 29, 32 and then maybe one more before AMA |
First one at 38. Second one at 41. Had planned for them to be even closer in age, but had 4 miscarriages between DC1 and DC2. |
YAY! Just curious -- in the end, what did it take to get pregnant? |
Donor + IVF |
32 (1 and 2)
35 (3) wish I had started earlier because I would have had #4. |
#1 36
#2 38 (one month before I turned 39) No m/c, #1 got pregnant on the first month of trying, #2 was an oops - we planned to have 1. Point being that you can't figure out what will happen to you based on someone else's experience. I fully expected based on everything we read and heard that we would have a tough time conceiving #1 and was about to start looking into our fertility coverage while we burned up our six months of trying before we got referred out to the specialist. Obviously, I never even got to getting the policy out of the file folder... |
28 #1
30 #2 Am now 35 and looking forward to #2 starting K! |
#1 33.5
#2 just turned 37 |
Is this serious? Are you the same person who keeps posting about all her children and wonderful homebirths or are there multiple peopple? The reason I ask is that I am - in the scheme of things - a fairly strong-willed natural birther... BUT... when I hear things like this (ie list of children and then a remark about homebirths) I get the impression that you are having so many children to actually GIVE BIRTH (as opposed to the many things that come after) them. Seems like a different kind of priority and I have a hard time understanding.... |
I'm calling sarcasm as the impetus for the "rapturous homebirth" poster.
Me: 31 and 35, done. |
29
36 Done! |
DD #1 at age 40
DD #2 and #3 (twins) at age 43 We're DONE! |
30, 32, 35, 41 -- #4 was a surprise, but we lucked out -- the only girl and she's a peach
and, yes, we're done -- oldest just graduated from college and we're actually thinking about grandkids -- but not too soon! |
