The owners worked for years at Pizzeria Paradiso and learned well. Kid-friendly also.

Thank you for the tip, moderator. I've never heard of this place - can you or anyone else tell me whether it's near a Metro stop?

The closest stop is Petworth, but that would be a long walk. There are lots of busses on Georgia Ave, however. Also, for those who might want to drive, parking is normally very easy in the evenings.

Love the Italian Store in Arlington (but I work in Arlington and can bring it home from CC) I think it's even better than Vace. They also have great carryout linguine and clams.

We also love Comet Ping Pong next to Politics and Prose.

I hate Ledo's...think it's too sweet but my DH and DS LOVES it.

Moroni and Brother's brick oven pizza is great. They also have other food, which is fine, but pizza is the best. Place is kid-friendly. Our boys love to see fire burning in the oven and pizza being made right there.

Another vote for Vace. I also make my own pizza, but I have to admit that Vace's is better - I think you need a brick oven to make a truly great pizza.

The Vace in Bethesda is on Miller Rd - it's a small street that intersects Wisconsin near downtown Bethesda.
