How Often Do You Wash Your Hair?

Are these mousse or powders? I've used the Tresemme (which now that I'm looking at the bottle I see says "waterless foam shampoo," not dry shampoo), and it is helpful when my hair is looking frizzy or just not fresh. But it isn't particularly helpful in terms of feeling clean and fresh (just looking that way).

They are aerosol sprays. I've never used a mousse kind, can't imagine that wouldn't end up with my hair feeling heavier and not clean, these are great, just spray in to roots and comb through. The idea is to absordpb the oils around that build on your scalp.

I wash my hair every other day because I personally believe that washing it daily will prevent it from becoming healthy. I think it works for me because I don't have any hair problems like frizz or damage. Might as well share this concern at http://www.lifo.com. It is a fun site for girls that lets girls share beauty tips and fashion ideas.

PP, I haven't been a "girl" for a long, long time, but thanks anyway. lol

To the pp who wanted to know if it makes you hair "feel" clean as well as look it, my experiences is that it doesn't. (I'm the poster who uses Fekkai.) Fekkai's stuff is actually a powder, not a foam or spray, and it does improve how your hair looks the 2nd day. But, your hair can feel heavy and it definitely doesn't feel clean clean, especially by the end of day 2.

OKAY, for the person who didnt wash their hair for 14 days: I get that it looked good after you washed it the first time. But did y ou notice any long term effects?

Every other day.

But if I exercise, then that is the exception and I always wash my hair after running or swimming.

I got a keratin treatment and I now can go about every three days.

So I have been inspired...I have been trying to grow my hair for a year and it has barely grown. I am one who has greasy hair the second day so I am going to get the dry shampoo and give the every other day hair wash a try. I will report back how it goes ....

Every other day BUT...I work from home most of the time and so can easily get away with this. It does look/feel greasy by the end of that second day, but I also work out which makes it much much worse. I have to say that my hair is much healthier now that I do this. Also, I really do think that my scalp adjusts. If I have to be in the office for several days in a row, then I wash it each day. That first day that I don't wash it is pretty gross. But then it adjusts!

Every other to every third day. I sue baby powder in the scalp if it gets greasy. It did take a bit of time to adjust to not feel "icky" on the second day. It's only late the third day that my hair gets itchy.

I may try pushing it longer though, i have long hair and it's a pain to dry. The ends always look better the 2-3 day.
