Fresh cut mango from the produce department (because I really can't be bothered to peel a mango and cut around that big old pit). Chopped carrots (not baby carrots) back before 3rd trimester, when I had the time and energy to peel and chop them. The baby carrots get so slimy so fast that they gross me out. Cracker Barrel extra sharp cheddar cheese (the individually wrapped little ones). And for anyone who shops at Safeway: Brownie Moose Tracks ice cream. Calcium, protein, and all those antioxidants in the chocolate! |

I made up this yummy shake thats full of protein, is sweet but not too sweet and tastes really good and fills you up...one banana, 2 large scoops peanut butter, 1 small container greek yogurt, 1/2 cup frozen wild blueberries (or strawberries), organic milk...mix in a blender or w electric hand mixer...pour into glass and enjoy! I call it the Barney milk shake (it will look really purple bc of the blueberries). PS...if you don't like greek yogurt, no worries, you won't even taste it. |
