nutella. it's protein, right?

Pork barbeque! The good kind, with coleslaw, vinegar, and hot sauce on a potato roll. Also tons of cereal, frozen blueberries, peanut butter toast with strawberries, and veggie bologna sandwiches.

Toast multigrain bread and rub a raw garlic clove into it. add sliced avocado, tomato, pepper, a little salt and a drizzle of olive oil. Amazing.

I was so good about "preggo" snacks during the first trimester...now I'm 23 weeks and this post is making me feel guilty! I don't really have many snacks at all anymore, but I have to say I haven't been trying as hard to eat fruits and veggies like I was at first. Thanks for the reminder - these all sound delicious!

homemade hot chocolate with cream. it's the best part about this wet chilly spring!

I've become addicted to eggs scrambled with chopped potato (I just use my leftover baked ones) and some mild green chiles. Sometimes I also add a little bit of cheese. Yum!

That does sound amazing. I see an avocado run on my way home from work.

My go-to snacks are dry-roasted almonds and multigrain toast with natural peanut butter and a little strawberry preserves. Oranges and apples too.

(And, while I dislike the term preggo and wouldn't use it myself (much like hubby), I don't begrudge others who feel differently.)

You guys are all making me look bad. All I want to eat are things like brownies and cupcakes and ice cream.

Haha...this post is making me hungry!

I stopped eating red meat and pork shortly before I got pregnant and was eating more soy products, which are grossing me out at the moment. I eat a lot of cheese and crackers and love hummus with veggies or chips (Whole Foods hummus is the best).

I'm a nurse and couldn't live without my Luna bars. They are a quick calorie boost when I know it's going to be awhile before I can sit down and eat a real meal.

Tonight we had jicama with lime juice and chile sauce...yum!

I have issues with salty, crunchy foods. I ate a box of Cheez-Its in two days after I had a pregnancy-cave and bought some. (Even before I was pregnant, I tried not to keep them in the house!)

After that debacle, I've been trying to keep to nuts, toast with natural peanut butter, and cheese and crackers. Although they are high fat, at least there are nutrients . . . .
