| Wow, dating sounds like a sh!tshow. I'm so sorry. |
| I’m a 40+ nurse in an ER and I meet many eligible men. I usually look like hell during a shift but men must think nurses are sex starved and yes, sometimes we are. Periodically I will take one up on an offer and we have a fun time for a while but my life is so busy a LTR is not in the cards. FWIW single EMTs, often 10+ years younger than me, are amazing. |
Why would you marry at a “very young age?” |
| Stay away from men. You'll be happier. |
Welcome UTIs! |
Yes, it is very common in their 40s to find a lot of partners to sleep with. Not an issue at all. |
why you don't have time for LTR? I have seen that with a lot of nurses in their 40s. is it the emotional draining of working as a nurse or physical exhaustion? |
why they had it unfulfilled sex? They must be getting something else that was worth to stay. They made their choice and didn't do anyone any favors. |
Nurses are viewed as promiscuous and are around rich doctors/med students. There aren't many men willing to deal with that for a LTR. |
The nurses I know are very astute at dealing with partners, unlike many women. |
It felt that way at first. Like most things in life, when you learn what to expect and learn how to conduct yourself, it can be great. |
Its like test driving cars. Quick enjoyment but not saddled with the bs when you're done. |
| Happily married 47 year old male here. I almost never even notice young women anymore. I primarily only notice women late 30s and up! My wife is 44 and I just can’t get enough even after 21 years! I’m actually a bit concerned about my seeming non interest in beautiful twenty somethings, but I can’t help it. So don’t worry. |
Maybe (hopefully!) it's harder to be attracted to someone who could be your daughter. |
