Where does one go online or in person for casual meetups without commitment? I’m an elder millennial going through a divorce (separated over a year). I was married very young and never participated in modern dating like tinder, etc.

Looking to put myself out there in the most non-commital way as I navigate what life after divorce looks/feels like.

Side q: Am I generalizing or are most older men just looking for young and hot and I’ll be looked over as used goods.

Anecdote time.

The father of one of my son's team mates got separated (in Arlington) and got on the apps like three weeks later after bailing on 'traditional' methods of networking, grocery store small talk etc, and he slept with 32 women in two months.

He said is was zero effort, mid 40s, recent divorcees who were more than happy to sleep with him within an hour of meeting him.

Said it was actually quite depressing

that and has every STD known to man…if using protection has ever been more important. Can you imagine getting pregnant by someone like this AND contracting a disease from them? The desperation is palpable. You ladies are going to have to start building the men you want like Mr Potato Head. I am not joking. Find some subpar man and shine him up…make sure his baseline STD panel is clear first…and then go to work. We are at the grasping for straws stage now. It’s time for a little creativity…

I read these stories here but it never happened to me in dmv. I’m a late 40s woman I had relationships and men actually courted me. Never had sex with anyone before asking std status and using protection. Usually sex is on date 4-5

Actually, it’s easy as hell for divorced dads in their forties to hook up on the DMV. Even avg looking dad bod guys seem to have no issue at all. My one buddy was scoring with VERY pretty women of all age ranges. All the young dudes he worked with were puzzled at how this dorky dad could get so much action.

Serious people who look for a relationship will take time. I dated for LTR so I avoided this hooking up completely. The upkeep to sleep with so many people would be unmanageable to me. Besides STDs, women get UTIs after changing partners

NBA players are happily in long term relationships . It will hurt their sports performance to be such extreme men..ores
